Internal Audit
Andrea Trapè is Head of Internal Audit of CA Auto Bank, confirming the role he had assumed at FCA Bank since December 2020.
He started his career in 1995 as Internal Auditor for the New Zealand government. In 2000 he moved to Melbourne, where he worked in information security for one of Australia’s largest banks.
In 2002, he returned to Italy, where he covered different roles in the Internal Audit department of RAS Assicurazioni (now Allianz).
In 2007, he joined Fiat Revi as ICT Audit Manager and became Head of ICT Audit in 2009. As part of the creation of FCA, he was involved in the convergence of the audit methodology, the implementation of an integrated Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) corporate system, and ICT aspects of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act certification. He also led the Data Analytics team introducing innovative tools for the audit activity.
Born in Montefiascone (Viterbo), he graduated in Economics and Business Studies at University of Perugia and holds the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) certifications.

General Manager
Giacomo Carelli is the CEO of CA Auto Bank since its launch on 4th April 2023, thus retaining the role he had held at FCA Bank since July 2014.
He is also Chairman of Drivalia since October 2018.
He is also serving as Head of International Partnerships at Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility since April 2022.
Giacomo Carelli has worked in a multicultural environment in many countries since the start of his career. He joined IBM in Spain in 1994 and FCA in 1996, working in marketing and as a project & product manager in Spain, UK, Poland and Germany. Between 2000 and 2005, he was Sales and Marketing Director at FCA Bank in Greece, and then Country Manager for six years. In 2012, he returned to Italy as Group Head of Sales and Marketing. Within FCA Bank, he also held the position of Country Manager in Switzerland before becoming the Group CEO in July 2014.
Giacomo Carelli holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business from La Sapienza University in Rome (Rome I), a postgraduate diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing at the University of West London and an Msc in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics. He also holds the title of CPA in Italy.
Head of Human Resources & Process Governance
Andrea Barcio is Head of Human Resources at CA Auto Bank, remaining in the role he has held at FCA Bank since May 2019. In July 2024, he took on responsibility for the Process Governance department.
He started his career as a consultant. In 1993, he was a Training Specialist with ISVOR. In 1997, he joined Accenture, where he was a Senior Consultant until 2000, when he moved to the Human Resources/Organisation department at FGA until 2003.
After two different positions in Human Resources, in the International Development and Central Staff area, in 2005 he became FGA’s Head of Recruitment until 2007, when he became Head of Human Resources for Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Abarth Brand Marketing Communication and Product Concept.
In 2010, he became FGA Human Resources Business Partner for the Central Functions, Quality and Supply Chain, a position he held until 2014.
Between 2012 and 2016, he served as Human Resources Business Partner for Global Finance & ICT for FGA. As HRBP in EMEA, he also collaborated with the Finance, Business Development and Turkey areas.
In October 2016, he was appointed Head of hHuman Resources at the FCA Bank and Leasys Business Unit, Italy, where he remained until April 2019.
Andrea Barcio was born in Siracusa (Italy) in 1967. He graduated from liceo classico high school, holds a postgraduate degree in Sociology and obtained a Master’s in Human Resources.
Sales, Marketing & Business Development
Lucyna Bogusz is Head of Sales, Marketing & Business Development of CA Auto Bank starting from January 2024.
Lucyna Bogusz started her carrier in 1997 in Fiat Auto Poland, in Sales. Then, she continued her professional path in an international environment moving to Fiat Auto, Italy in the year 1999, to manage relations with importers. From 2002, back in Poland she served as the Alfa Romeo Country Manager, and from 2006 until 2009 as the Fiat Professional Country Manager. In 2009, she was appointed the Managing Director of Fiat Auto CR in Czech Republic. In 2012, she went back to Italy and became the Marketing Planning Manager for Lancia/Chrysler for the EMEA Region. In 2014 she returned to Poland, moving to the financing sector; she took the position of the Sales & Marketing Manager of Fiat Bank Polska and the role of Vice President of the Management Board of the Bank. She also became the President of FCA Leasing Polska. In 2020, she contributed to the structural change of the Bank into a Branch of FCA Bank, which she manages as CEO untill now. Additionally, she acted as a Management Board Member of Leasys Polska until March 2023. In March 2022 she also became the President of the Management Board of the newly created FCA Leasing Polska, recently renamed as Drivalia Lease. In April 2023, she confirmed his role as Country Manager for CA Auto Bank SpA Oddział w Polsce, a position she had already held at FCA Bank Oddział w Polsce since February 2019.
Lucyna Bogusz is a graduate of the University of Wrocław, in Foreign Languages. In 2009 she received a Master’s Diploma from HEC Paris & SGH Warsaw School of Economics, from Business Management and Administration.

Jakob Böhme is Country Manager at CA Auto Bank Germany since September 2024.
Wholesale Financing
Sylvia Boteva is Head of Wholesale Financing at CA Auto Bank both HQ and Italian Market.
She started her career assuming the role of Credit Analyst & Underwriter at Eurofidi s.c.p.a in 2005. In 2009 she entered the world of the Automotive Financial Services by joining FCA Bank s.p.a., working as Senior Corporate Credit Specialist. From 2012 until 2016 she covered the position of Financial Services Vendor Management & International Operations in Fidis s.p.a. (Fiat/ Stellantis group) for EMEA and APAC regions, extending during that period her role also to Financial Services Business Development and was also responsible for the global governance of Financial Service Suppliers. In 2019 she became Wholesale Financing Support & Markets’ Coordination Manager within the HQ at FCA Bank, the same position at CA Auto Bank until September 2023.
After moving from Bulgaria to Italy in 2000 she graduated from the University of Turin and holds a Master’s degree with honours in Business Administration
Group Chief Financial Officer
Luca Caffaro is Group Chief Financial Officer of CA Auto Bank, confirming the same position he has held at FCA Bank since February 2022.
He started his professional career as an auditor with Deloitte Italia (formerly Arthur Andersen) in 1999, before joining Fiat Group Automobiles Financial Services in 2004.
In 2006, he became part of the FCA Bank Group, where he has held positions of increasing responsibility in Italy and abroad in the area of Financial Services and Mobility.
After a three-year stint as Controller of the FCA Bank Group, from 2015 to 2018 he took on the role of CFO of Leasys SpA, a Group company active in the long-term rental sector.
In 2019 he was transferred to Germany as CFCO of Ferrari Financial Services, responsible for the Swiss, German and UK markets.
Eventually, he moved to France as Country Manager and Managing Director of FCA Capital France, before returning to Italy to take up his current position.
Luca Caffaro was born in Turin in 1975. He holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Turin and attended an MBA – Master CFO at the University of Turin.
Risk & Permanent Control
Maurizio Croattini is Head of Risk & Permanent Control of CA Auto Bank.
He started his career in 1981 at Unicredit, where over the next 10 years he held various positions, such as Branch Officer, Branch Manager, Deputy Branch Manager and Independent-Branch Manager.
In 1991, he joined Banco BPM, where he held managerial positions in the Branches Department and in the Regional Affairs Department, as well as positions as Head of Large Corporate development and sales, Group Retail Director, Group Foreign Director, Director of Network Internal Audit, Coordinator of commercial and strategic development activities and Assistant to the General Manager.
In September 2012 he was named Deputy General Manager and Risk and Control Director of Agos Ducato SPA.
In March 2024 he was appointed Head of Risk and Permanent Control of CA Auto Bank.
Maurizio Croattini was born in 1960 in Udine, Italy.
Head of European Markets
CA Auto Bank Country Manager UK & Ireland
Alexander Hughes is CA Auto Bank Country Manager for UK & Ireland, remaining in the same position he had held at FCA Automotive Services since September 2015. In July 2024, he also took on the role of Head of European Markets at CA Auto Bank, and has been Managing Director of Drivalia UK since July 2021.
After starting his professional career as a Remarketing Manager at Vauxhall, he joined Fiat Auto Financial Services in 2000 as a Product Development Manager. He held various marketing positions at the company, eventually becoming the brand’s Marketing Director in the UK in 2004, a position he held until 2007.
He spent the next three years co-ordinating the markets at FCA Bank Group before returning to the UK as the Sales and Marketing Director, a position he held for the next five years. Alexander Hughes was born in the UK, in 1976. He initially graduated from the University of Warwick and completed an MBA specialising in Strategic Marketing and International Sales Management.
Credit
Lionel Lafon is Head of Credit of CA Auto Bank, confirming the role he has held since November 2022 at FCA Bank.
He began his career in 1998 as a Risk Analyst and later became Risk Manager for Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance in 2002.
For 4 years he continues his path in Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance serving as Country Manager – International Division, managing Strategic steering, remote management & international entities development (Poland, Hungary, Saudi Arabia and Portugal).
He then became Chief Credit Officer for Credibom in Portugal, a position he held for 3 years.
Later, he took on the role of Head of Group Risk Management for CA CF and in 2018 became Chief Credit, Operations and Data Officer for Sofinco in Spain.
Lionel Lafon completed his Master’s degree in Econometrics at Lille University in 1996. In 1997, he received a degree in DESS Statistics & Econometrics from Toulouse University.
Compliance, Supervisory Relations & Data Protection
Patrizio Lattanzi holds the position of Head of Compliance Supervisory Relations & Data Protection at CA Auto Bank, confirming the role he assumed in FCA Bank, first as Head of Compliance & Supervisory Relations since December 2019, then with the responsibility for Data Protection Officer (DPO) since October 2020.
He started his professional career in 1994 with Azimut Holding S.p.A., as head of Group Corporate Affairs.
He then took on roles of responsibility in the Legal departments of the wealth and asset management companies of the Deutsche Bank and Intesa Groups.
In 2004 he became Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance with UBS (Italia) S.p.A.
In 2009 he became Head of Group Compliance with Banca Esperia S.p.A, and eventually took on the roles of Head of the Corporate Affairs and Operations department and CEO of fiduciary companies.
Patrizio Lattanzi was born in Rome on 14 July 1965 and graduated in law.
Communication & ESG
Valentina Lugli has served as the Head of Communication & ESG at CA Auto Bank since January 2024.
She started her career in 2002 as a journalist at RCS before transitioning to Mondadori in 2003. There, she held roles as an editor and event organizer for Interni magazine and other prestigious publications. In 2008, Valentina joined Ferrero as the Brand Communication Manager for Kinder.
In 2014, she assumed the position of Communication Manager Ferrero Italy for all brands. In this capacity, she shouldered additional responsibilities related to sponsorships, events, and coordinated the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project dedicated to Kinder + Sport.
In 2018 when she became part of the FCA Group as Communication Manager for Leasys & FCA Bank. Her responsibilities included EMEA-wide Market Coordination, Digital, Social Media, PR, Press Office, Internal Institutional Communication, Events, and Reputation. In 2021, she added Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to her portfolio.
Born in Modena in 1977, Valentina Lugli holds a degree in Interior Architecture, is a professional journalist, and has earned a Master’s degree in Integrated Corporate Communications from 24ORE Business School.
CEO of Drivalia
Paolo Manfreddi has been CEO of Drivalia since October 2022.
He began his career in 2002 as a Sales Specialist, before joining Fiat Groupe Automobiles in 2003, where he served in various positions such as Sales Manager, until he became Lancia Sales Director in 2012.
When FCA was established, he was appointed Owned Dealer Director and later as Rent a Car & Used Car Sales Manager for the EMEA Region.
In 2016 he joined the FCA Bank Group, acting first as Marketing and Business Development Director at Leasys, then in 2018, took on the role of Sales & Marketing Manager at FCA Bank Italia. From January 2021 to October 2022, he was CEO of Leasys Rent and Leasys New Mobility & Rent. Since April 2022, he has held the position of Head of European Markets & Business Development at FCA Bank.
Paolo Manfreddi was born in 1976 and holds a Master’s degree in Management Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin.
CA Auto Bank Italy
Marcella Merli has been appointed as Head of CA Auto Bank Italy as of 4 April 2023.
Furthermore, she has been Country Manager CA Auto Bank Belgium until September 2023.
Merli began her career in 2002, in the Financial Services sector of Targasys in Arese, where she worked in the Marketing department. In the following year, she joined Savarent’s Marketing department to work on Long Term Rental. She became Marketing Manager at Savarent in 2006.
Merli joined FCA Bank in 2009 and held various positions of increasing responsibility. In 2011, she was appointed as Brand Manager for Jaguar & Land Rover at the group level. From May 2016, she served as Group Head of Sales and Marketing until July 2020 when she became the Country Manager of the Belgian branch of FCA Bank.
Merli’s responsibilities expanded in January 2021 when she was put in charge of the Belgian branch of Leasys. In August 2022, she took over as the Country Manager of the Dutch branch of FCA Bank while continuing her role as the Country Manager of the Belgian branch of FCA Bank.
Merli has a degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the School of Economics of the University of Turin, Italy.
ICT, Digital & Data Governance
Luca Pollano holds the position of Head of ICT, Digital & Data Governance at CA Auto Bank, confirming the role he held at FCA Bank, first as Information & Communication Technology (ICT) from November 2017, then as Head of Data Governance from March 2019 and Head of Digital from November 2019.
His career started in IN.T.E.S.A. S.p.A., an IBM company, in the E-Business Solutions and Services department as IT Project Manager and then in 2001 he joined Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. and assigned responsibility for Accounting, Finance, Treasury and Reporting Process in the ICT function, being involved in many projects.
In 2007 he covered the role as ICT Manager at Fiat Group International S.A (Switzerland) and in 2009 he was appointed Head of ICT Process – Finance, SAP and Purchasing in the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group – EMEA Region, covering also the global role for the ICT Process – Finance, SAP.
Additionally, in September 2016 he was assigned responsibility for ICT Teksid (FCA Group – Components), coordinating worldwide ICT activities for all Teksid legal entities.
He was born in Savigliano, province of Cuneo (Italy), and graduated in Computer Science.
CA Auto Bank France
Since January 1, 2024, he is the General Manager of CA Auto Bank in France.
Etienne Royol initiated his career at Crédit Agricole Centre Loire, where he held various roles, including Treasurer, Director of the Marketing Department, and Director of the Private Banking sector. In 2016, he joined Crédit Agricole de l’Anjou et du Maine, assuming the position of Director of Finance and Risks. In 2020, he transitioned to Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, becoming the Mobility Market Director at Sofinco for France.
Etienne Royol is a graduate of the University of Orléans and holds a specialized postgraduate degree in Banking and Insurance.
Legal, Corporate Affairs & Procurement
Marina Sapello is Head of Legal, Corporate Affairs & Procurement at CA Auto Bank.
A lawyer, she began her career at a local law firm in 2012, then initially gained experience as an in-house lawyer in 2014 at FCA Group Purchasing Srl. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as Legal Counsel at Ferrero S.p.A. and in 2015 became Legal Counsel at FCA Italy S.p.A., in the international distribution area.
In 2016, she joined the HQ Legal Department at FCA Bank S.p.A., and in 2021 became Legal Affairs Manager at FCA Bank Italia, a position that was confirmed at CA Auto Bank Italia in April 2023.
She graduated with honours in Law from the University of Turin and holds an LLM in International Trade Law.
Ferrari Financial Services GmbH – CEO
Roberto Sportiello was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ferrari Financial Services (JV between Ferrari and CA Auto Bank) in January 2020.
He began his career in Fiat SAVA in 2000 in the Credit department and then held positions of growing responsibility in Customer Relationship Management, Sales and then Marketing, between Market and Holding.
In 2008 he became Sales & Marketing Manager of FGA Capital Portugal, returning to Italy in 2011 as Marketing Manager for the Italy BU.
In 2014 he took the post of Head of Marketing & Sales of the FCA Bank Group.
In 2016 he was appointed CEO of FCA Bank GmbH, the bank of the FCA Bank Group in Austria.
