CA Auto Bank and Drivalia offset the emissions of their websites at Group level

Starting in 2023, CA Auto Bank and Drivalia have implemented an actual digital sustainability plan to offset the CO2 emissions generated by the Group’s websites. The project is carried out in collaboration with CO2 Neutral Website, a Danish company committed to raising awareness of the environmental impact of digital activity.
To assess the websites’ environmental footprint, the CO2 emissions were calculated based on average hosting energy consumption and the average number of site visitors.
To compensate for these emissions, CA Auto Bank and Drivalia have joined a series of offsetting projects certified by CO2 Neutral Website. These include initiatives with significant social and environmental impact, verified by accredited UN auditors and certified under the Gold Standard. CO2 Neutral Website’s activities are further audited by BDO, an independent auditing firm.
The supported projects range from the development of sustainable infrastructure—such as wind and solar energy plants—to reforestation efforts and the advancement of renewable energy sources, including hydro and wind power.
