CA Auto Bank and Drivalia Spain: together for a more inclusive future
As part of our commitment to the well-being of people and society, one of the strategic pillars of our Sustainability plan, on September 11, employees of CA Auto Bank and Drivalia Spain once again took part in a social volunteering day with the A LA PAR Foundation.
Founded 77 years ago, A LA PAR is a foundation that works for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities and to promote their participation in society.
Its work focuses on four areas: training (school and post-compulsory education), employment (employment offices, special employment centers), leisure and independent living (supervised and supported housing), and psychosocial support (access to justice for people with intellectual disabilities and a day center). Through these initiatives, the Foundation helps approximately 1,100 people.
During the volunteering day, our teams participated in several workshops – focusing on manufacturing, carpentry, gardening, and more – working closely with the Foundation’s professionals with disabilities.
After a productive morning, the employees of CA Auto Bank and Drivalia were randomly divided into teams for a paella-making competition. The jury, made up of employees from the Foundation’s special employment center, selected the winning team and presented the prize.
It was a a day of solidarity and teambuilding, an experience that strengthened team spirit and collaboration toward a shared social goal: breaking down barriers surrounding disability and facilitating true integration in society.
Thank you to all the participating employees and to the A LA PAR Foundation members for their warm welcome, kindness , and the remarkable social impact of their work.
