Drivalia, the rental and mobility company of the CA Auto Bank Group, today announced its entry into professional volleyball, becoming the official Mobility Partner of Chieri ’76 Volleyball for the current season.
Chieri ’76 Volleyball is a symbol of Italian and international sporting excellence. Based in Chieri, the team is a mainstay in Serie A1, Italy’s top league. Its prestige has grown exponentially in recent years, highlighted by victories in Europe, including the Challenge Cup (2022–2023) and the CEV Cup (2023–2024).
This remarkable record has been achieved by a squad featuring top-level female athletes, including some of the Paris 2024 Olympic gold medalists from the Italian national team, who have been a source of Italian pride on the global stage.
As Mobility Partner, Drivalia will support the team throughout the season by providing vehicles from its fleet. The company will also enjoy extensive visibility, with its brand featured on team jerseys and official shorts, and along the sidelines at PalaFenera during home games, and in all club communications.
The partnership with Chieri ’76 reflects a dual purpose for Drivalia. On one hand, it demonstrates a concrete commitment to supporting sport, promoting the talent, dedication, and achievements of athletes at the highest levels. On the other, it expresses a desire to back excellence rooted in the Turin area, strengthening ties with the local community.
“We welcome Drivalia to our family with great enthusiasm,” said Filippo Vergnano, President of Chieri ’76 Volleyball. “It is an international partner and a leader in their field that, like us, values innovation and the strength of community ties. Its support — also proudly displayed on our jerseys — gives us an extra boost as we approach a season in which we aim to play a leading role in Italy and Europe, continuing to dream and win together”.
“We are proud to associate our brand with a team like Chieri ’76, which perfectly embodies the values of determination, collaboration, and the continuous pursuit of excellence,” said Roberto Sportiello, CEO of Drivalia. “Our commitment to volleyball strengthens our presence in the Italian sports scene, where over the years we have supported, in various ways, prominent teams in soccer, basketball, cycling, and tennis. We firmly believe that sport is a fundamental driver of change. Supporting female excellence and a flagship team of the Turin area, with which we share the ambition to always achieve the best results, is a source of great satisfaction for us”.
